Paola Mojica, Journalist
As a young child Paola did ballet, but unfortunately that stopped due to her visit to Mexico. She is now a senior in high school and she is interested in attending Santa Clara University to become a forensic psychologist. She found out about Santa Clara through a field trip In AVID, she's been in AVID for 6 years now. Paola has been part of our high school cheer team for four years now. She enjoys cheer performances, all the practice, and the hard work they put in every day. Her proudest moment would be cheering at the Jamboree her freshman year because it was her first time performing in a large crowd. She likes spending her free time shopping at the mall and taking care of her dog Bella which breed is a Yorkie. Her favorite t.v. show is Criminal Minds, she enjoys reading and writing, and the genres she enjoys the most overall are mystery and sci fi. Some of her favorite books based in these genres are the following ¨The Silent Sister¨ and ¨Angels and Demons¨.Paola is proud of starting a new club, the Health Club. She is involved in school as well by being part of the travel club. Like most of us, she has regrets such as not joining a second sport and not think about college earlier. Vance Joy, Coldplay, and Lana del Rey are her all time favorite artists. When she listens to music it's usually to chill or to calm down before a performance. If she had a wish she would wish to be financially stable and have extra money for college, traveling, and for buying another house. Paola has had an interesting adventures life so far.
