Principal Christina Perez-Parker leads a group in the ceremonial ground breaking for the new building., which should be completed in the next two years “The building will support the growing population of students, and help with a space issue we are facing for teachers and students."

The Wellness Center is full of trained social workers who are there to help students who are in need of help.
Wellness Center provides programs for mental health
In her ASL 2 class ASL teacher Patty Killough signs "look at me" to get their attention, as some of the students were not paying attention (on phones, talking, etc.). "As the language is visual, students must have their eyes on me in order to receive the message," she said. "They are unable to simply listen while doing something else."

Senior wins $25,000 Girls Inc. Scholarship
In a home match against Alvarez at First Tee, junior Alejandra Alvarez hits an approach shot with her 9-iron from the rough. Alvarez scored a 5 on hole 1 and had an overall match score of 35. The team won this match with a score of 231. Alvarez was named 1st Team All-League.
Girls’ golf team finishes season tied for 2nd in Mission Division
In a match against Pajaro Valley on October 3rd, number 1 singles player and senior captain, Teresa Ochoa, hits a backhand in her win. The team ended up taking the win with a 4-3 score. “It was really hot that day, so I couldn’t wait for the game to be over and I was just telling myself to get the ball over the net,” Ochoa said.
Cherishing the Moments
With the clock running down and the Trojans ahead 33-27, the defense stopped the Sharks at the goal line to seal the win. #1 Carlos Zamora celebrates the stop. “Our defense came up huge against St. Francis and I can't say enough at how proud I am of them as a group,” Coach Estrada said.
Staying the course
Against Soledad on September 30th, Nayeli Gil-Silva and Sara Neumann blocked an attack from Soledad, scoring a point for the Trojans. “I love contact sports and when I'm blocking it makes me feel like I'm telling the other team, ‘You can’t do that!’” The Trojans beat the Aztecs 3-0.
Rebuild to Success
At Pinto Lake in Center Meet 3 on October 17th, Gustavo Perez finished first with a time of 15:44. “It was our first time running that course,” Perez said, “I didn’t know what to expect but going into the race it was very hilly. Being able to still run 15’s makes me feel proud.”

This is a display of some of my adult collector sets, mixed with some smaller ones. It represents a shrine of sets that keep me coming back to Lego due to their difficulty and age range. Some sets, like Optimus Prime, took me 4 hours or multiple days to put together which is what I enjoy from Lego, you never feel bored.
Why I still enjoy collecting Lego
These nails are the last set that I did on myself about 2 weeks ago and lasted me 3 weeks. It took me about 2 and a half hours to do. These nails are medium length and well manicured, with a French tip glossy finish. They are painted a soft pink color and each nail has a delicate white flower design, which adds elegance and creativity. As soon as I saw the final result, I got a surge of confidence and I loved them.

Caution: Close Election Ahead
Two of my favorite pieces of clothing are from eBay. The jeans I got are from the brand Imperious. I like the design on the front and back pockets. They are so cool! They were originally $30, but I offered $25 and it was accepted. The shirt was $20 dollars.

My EMR class gave me plenty of "real world" opportunities. In March I had the opportunity to assist in the simulation of delivering a baby with my team. I enjoyed it because all the fake blood made it realistic.
